These are some of the words found in a Pastoral Letter written by Bishop Christopher Coyne our Bishop and Bishop Thomas Ely the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont in response to the killings in Louisiana, Minnesota, and Dallas. They said there was no room for violence directed at Police Officers and for Racism. How would we finish the sentence? That is my first question. My second question is what are we doing to ensure that violence, racism, hatred, greed, closed mindedness or what word you used to finish the sentence does not become the new norm in our society. As I have said many times before if we do nothing different nothing is going to change. Our faith ensures us that Good always over comes evil. May we do our part to make this a reality.
God's continued Peace,
