Imagine that you are driving and as you round the corner you see a dreaded road block. Yes, they may be a necessary evil, but nobody likes them. Some times the road block causes a short delay and others a long delay. And sometimes they might even involve a short or long detour. As I said nobody likes them, but they are part of the driving experience.
Now what is true of our journey on the highway is also true of our journey through life. Sometimes our desired path through life runs into road blocks. The only difference is sometimes these road blocks are in front of us because of some previous decision that we made that has lead to this consequence. The question is do we allow this road block to stop all forward moving progress, or do we find some way to work our way around it so that we can get back on the right path. This is the question that I will ponder in next week’s reflection. I invite you to ponder the same question during the week.
God continued Peace!
