As you are probably well aware, this is Super Bowl Sunday. And because it is Super Bowl Sunday, family and friends will continue the tradition of gathering to share food, watch the new commercials being aired, and maybe even watch the football game. Getting together for this game is something that is looked forward to for weeks. It is a great thing, especially when the Patriots are playing.
I just have one question or suggestion and that is why do we have to wait for the Super Bowl to get together? I remember so many families had the tradition of getting together every Sunday following Mass just to be with one another. Let us rediscover the wonder of this tradition.
Gathering for the Super Bowl is good but gathering to spend time with family and friends is even better.
God’s continued peace.
