If someone was to ask me what prayer is this would be my answer, having a heart to heart conversation with God. Prayer is not a repetition of words but placing ourselves before God to share with Him what is on our hearts. This is what true friends do! When someone ask me to pray for them I come before the Lord with confidence and as I pray for the person I ask God to surround the person with His Grace and as I do so I lift them up to the Lord.
Is your prayer a Heart to Heart conversation with God?
Is God Crying? I wonder if God is crying because it has happened again that a disillusioned individual, a child of God, has resorted to taking the lives of other children of God. I truly believe that God wants us to support one another and not kill. I think that it would bring a smile to God's face if He see us acknowledging the Gift that is within all of us His Children.
My challenge for this week is that each one of us will strive to foster the Gift that is in the person in front of us. Who knows, our small act of kindness might just be the thing that helps someone from being disillusioned to hopeful.
God's continued Peace, Fr. Yvon
My friends as we all know the sharing of information, both good and bad, has changed dramatically over the past twenty years. Everything is known by individuals around the world almost instantaneously. And as I mentioned above this is not always for the good. I want this blog to be an opportunity to pose questions or thoughts that will help all of us better appreciate what we have been given and what each one of us can do to make the world a better place. My question for the day is: Have we thanked someone today who has helped us see the good in the world?
