One of the biggest blessings that I have experienced as I look back on the month of January was the ability to witness several individuals and families being present to a loved one who was in their final weeks of life. It was obvious that it was not easy for them to see their loved one getting weaker but it was also obvious that they would not want to be in any other place.
Witnessing the gentle caresses and their sharing of memories was a blessing for me and I trust for them as well. The gift of this time can never be taken away. I just want to take a moment to thank these individuals, you know who you are, on behalf of your loved one because I could also tell that it was a blessing for them as well. May God comfort you in your loss as you comforted them.
God’s continued Peace!
