As we all know this Monday we celebrate Memorial Day: a day in which we take time to remember and celebrate all of our brothers and sisters who have given their lives so that we can enjoy the freedom that we all take for granted. With this in mind I am going to keep this reflection short, but I just ask that in what ever way you celebrate this important day that you take a moment of silence to say a prayer to remember and to give thanks for those who gave their lives so that we can know the know the freedom we know. Just a note of interest most Catholic Churches offer Mass on Memorial Day in the cemetery if the weather cooperates. It might be worth checking out!
